The day I told the Beast "No",
was the day I immediately to my
first aid box had to go.
With one swift strike of it´s mighty paw,
red was suddenly all I saw.

A long gash it opened above my knee.
I cried "O horror, how can this be?"
My hearts blood set free,
my hearts blood staining the tapestry!

I´ll tell you now,I´ll tell you all.
When the ruby drops hit the wall.
By the time my blood started to ooze,
the Beast had already started to snooze.

The day I broke that unwritten law,
was the day I got to taste the claw.
Now rivers of red are running down my leg,
and the culprit the scene has already fled.........
